To become a member you must:
1. Must possess a valid riding license
2. Must possess valid insurance
3. Agree to ride safely (no speeding, or use of drink and drugs when riding) It is recommended that the association develop a defined list of ‘safe behaviors’ with their members so there is a shared understanding
4. Commit to treating passengers fairly
5. Must operate from a designated stand
6. Must pay a joining fee and an agreed periodic subscription.
1. Financial support in the case of injury or illness – either from a central pot of funds used for the purpose, or via contributions made by other members.AMTR- Ghana may set up a Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (SACCOS) for the purpose of providing financial support. This support may extend to assisting riders in purchasing their own motorcycle or three-wheeler.

8. Assistance with recovering a stolen motorcycle in the event of theft
